Who owns what scene (Gio)
A short scene analysisng the theme of copyright.
INT. Music studio. Afternoon.
A young male has just finished recording a new track of his, he is an aspiring artist. He is dressed in an oversized wshite t-shirt accompanined with a black bomber jacket and jeans. he wears a gold ring on his right hand and a chain around his neck. His hair is platted in single braids.
Around the studio are posters of American rap artist A$AP Rocky. He removes his headphones and walks over to his laptop, he opens a file titles 'new beats'. he selects the first track and begins to play it out loud, he pulls up a chair and begins to nod his head to the beat. the diegetic sound of the music plays for 5-10 seconds before he pauses it. He opens a new tab and selcets Youtube, he beings to play A$AP Rocky's L$D, the track sounds very similar to the beat that he produced him self. He sighs and aggressivley slams down his computer screen.
Close up shots of the charatcers attire appear on screen, constant cross cuts between the character and a poster on the wall of his idol reveal an evident resemblance to the audience. The character walks slowly towards a window on the other side of the studio, he gazes into the distance. As he does so a man spriniting with a breifcase runs past...
