Group Decision of Final Film Concept

Overview of Short Film:

The short film focuses on a writer who has been inspired by the works of Christopher Nolan, he aims to create an original concept while utilizing Nolan's visual style. The writer conceptualizes his ideas that correlate with shots Nolan has done in his own films. A ticking sound plays in the background throughout the progression of the three minute film. There is still an ongoing development as we want to take an episodic approach to the film. Overall the film will represent the idea of taking something that has been made and making it our own. It is challenging to be original but when we are inspired by others we begin to develop concepts that revitalizes older ideas.

Short Film Treatment/Development:

• The first shot is a writer in his room as he develops the script for his movie
• The second shot is a close up of his watch 
• The camera utilizes a slow pull and barrel roll (Inspired by Nolan) to reveal a man being chased down
• WE ARE STILL DEVELOPING THE SCENES

Roles:

• Everyone will have opportunity to try out different roles
• Overtime we can produce and direct our own scenes
